Fight Night || Galahad vs Dickens 2 news, channel and card

The first time Galahad and Dickens met in the ring was all the way back in 2013 for a super-bantamweight bout. During that fight, Galahad was proclaimed the winner by TKO during the tenth round though Dickens had been winning on points in previous rounds.

Boxing fans around the world will be able to watch tonight’s fight on DAZN as part of the sports streaming service’s coverage of Matchroom Fight Camp 2. While Leigh Wood defeated Xu Can to take the WBA featherweight title at last weekend’s event, the final event in Fight Camp 2 will see Joshua Buatsi take on Ricards Bolotniks for a chance at the WBA International light heavyweight title next Saturday on August 14.

Now, they’ll renew their rivalry with a lot more on the line, as Galahad and Dickens vie for the vacant IBF world featherweight title in the main event of the Matchroom Fight Camp 2 card. It all takes place in Brentwood, England.

Galahad enters the bout with a victory over Claudio Marrero in February 2020 to bounce back from his split decision loss to Josh Warrington in June 2019.

Since suffering back-to-back losses in July 2016 and May 2017, Dickens has rattled off eight consecutive wins including a unanimous decision over Ryan Walsh in December.

Today at 2 pm ET streaming live on DAZN, Matchroom Boxing’s Fight Camp returns for the second of three straight weeks with an IBF featherweight title main event.

The headline fight is a rematch, pitting Kid Galahad against Jazza Dickens for that vacant 126 lb belt. The two first met way back in 2013, with Galahad stopping Dickens in the 10th round, both unbeaten going into the fight. Through a lot of twists and turns, they wind up squaring off again for a world title.
