Fight Night || Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul, odds and time
Floyd Mayweather is back in the boxing ring tonight as he fights YouTube sensation Logan Paul in what promises to be a huge exhibition event at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
The legendary undefeated four-weight world champion has not fought since December 2018, when he emphatically knocked out Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa inside one round.
Mayweather initially called time on his illustrious career back in 2015, though later improved his glittering record to 50-0 by stopping UFC superstar Conor McGregor in ‘The Money Fight’ in 2017.
Along with younger brother Jake, Logan Paul’s move into professional boxing has provoked no shortage of controversy, though he could answer some of those critics with an impressive display tonight in front of 70,000 fans in Florida and many, many more watching on TV across the globe.
Paul – whose only pro bout to date ended in defeat by fellow YouTuber KSI – has big advantages in age, weight and height, coming in at a whopping 34.5lbs heavier, but regardless he faces an enormous challenge against one of the most highly-skilled and celebrated boxers ever to compete.
The likes of Badou Jack and Jarrett Hurd are also in action tonight, while former NFL wide receiver Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson makes his boxing debut.

So how exactly has Logan Paul improved from that split-decision defeat by fellow YouTuber KSI in Los Angeles in November 2019?
“Comfortability of knowing what to do, when to do it,” Paul said. “As an athlete, beforehand, my timing has always been good, my strength, my speed has always been good.
“But it was hard to cross and find that intersection of athlete meets boxer, and we found it this past year. And I accelerated quickly.
“You know, we’ll see if I accelerated quickly enough. But yeah, I just believe.”
