UFC Vegas 11 || Covington vs Woodley Channel and Card

This Saturday, September 19, UFC Vegas 11 will take place. It’ll be held inside the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, former interim titleholder Colby Covington will take on former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley.

Woodley is ranked #5 in the division right now, and a win could take him closer to a title shot. He might feature in a possible eliminator next. However, with a loss, he could go further down the ladder, and be forced to fight a lower-ranked opponent next.

On the other hand, Covington, who is the #2 contender, could face either #4 Jorge Masvidal or #3 Leon Edwards next with a victory this weekend. But a loss will put him in a spot of bother as he might swap places with Woodley in the welterweight rankings.

In the co-main event, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone will go one-on-one with Niko Price in a welterweight clash. Cerrone is looking to avoid his fifth loss in a row. Also featured on the main card will be a middleweight clash between Khamzat Chimaev and Gerald Meerschaert.

Johnny Walker vs. Ryan Spann will also collide in a light-heavyweight tilt. Mackenzie Dern vs. Randa Markos and Kevin Holland vs. Darren Stewart are scheduled for the main card as well.

Also on the main card, Khamzat Chimaev aims to continue his incredible streak against tough veteran Gerald Meerschaert in a middleweight bout, while, No. 11 ranked Johnny Walker locks horns with surging No. 12 Ryan Spann in an exciting battle of light heavyweight contenders. Plus, entertaining grapplers clash as Mackenzie Dern takes on Randa Markos in a women’s strawweight bout and rising middleweights collide when Kevin Holland meets Darren Stewart.

Below you will see the final staredown between Covington and Woodley.

Cerrone vs Price

The co-main event on the night will pit UFC veteran Donald Cerrone against Niko Price in another welterweight encounter. Cerrone is ranked #14 in the lightweight division and he also moves up a weight category at times, while Price is a welterweight who is on the brink of entering the top-15.
